for everyone
Its been a long time since I posted my journal here... Im writing today because I got an article from my friend about the difference about winners and losers. Sometimes we experience the feeling of no sense of direction, demotivated and demoralized.. Thats why we have the habit of quitting. Let me share this to you . I've read it from the book of Francis Kong entitled " One dAy at a time:

1) Winners is always part of the answer, the loser is always part of the problem.
2)Winner always has a program, the loser always has an excuse.
3)The winner says, " Let me do it for you", the loser says, " That is not my job".
4) The winner sees an answer for every problem, the loser sees a problem for every answer.
5) The winner says" It may be difficult but it is possible", the loser says" It may possible but it is difficult.
6)When a winner makes a mistakes he says," I was wrong"; when a loser makes a mistakes, he says, it wasnt my fault.
7)A winner makes commitments, a loser makes promises.
8)Winners have dreams, Losers have schemes.
9) Winners say, I must do something", Losers says something must be done.
10) Winners are part of the team, Losers are apart from the team.
11) Winners see the gain, Losers see the pain.
12)Winners see the possibilities, Losers see the problem.
13) Winners believe in a win-win, Losers believe for them to win someone has to lose.
14) Winners see the potential, Losers see the past.
15) Winners are like thermostat, losers are like thermometers.
16) Winners choose what they say: Losers say what they choose.
17) Winners use hard arguments but soft words, Losers use soft arguments but hard words.
18) Winners stand firm on values but compromise on petty things: Losers stand firm on petty things but compromise on values.
19)Winners follow the philosophy of empathy: " Dont do to others what you would not want them to do to you.Losers follow the philosophy: " Do it to others before they do it to you".
20) Winners make it happen. Losers let it happen.

Winners have the commitment and the right attitude.. Losers on the other hand, might have talents and lot of skills but their losing attitude gets in the way of success.. So now you can tell me, you cant hit your quota? You cant pull yourself away from vices? you cant do the things you know you should do to achieve success? Judge yourself now.... Are you a winner or a loser???

it's really interesting, but i would've been really inspired by this message... if i was me 2 years ago.

but after too much stephen covey and john maxwell and more than halfway through my masters in counseling degree, i've realized something: we're all becoming too hard on ourselves.

we run after so many labels, try to impress too many people, try to make our lives mean something and be seen as significant and worthwhile.

but too often we fail to realize that no matter what we do (and even if we "do nothing at all"), we already ARE worthwhile.

we love, we look for love, we look for somebody to love. we feel, we despair. we care about people. we mess up, we try again, we mess up even more. we give up, we get back up, or we wallow for a while. and it's an amazing process that no other creature will ever go through.

and it's not about being a winner or a loser. it's about being human.

yes. we're only human born to make mistake.... nobody's perfect and we are entitled to fail..and that would definitely make us a better person.
